Bitcoin: speed, price risk and irreversibility
Bitcoin is the best-known cryptocurrency and the one most often found in casino cashiers that accept crypto. Paying with BTC means sending coins from your wallet to the casino's address. It works without a bank, but a Bitcoin payment is irreversible and its euro value moves. Whether Valmo accepts Bitcoin on your account is shown in the cashier.

Deposit
- Choose Bitcoin in the cashier and the network. The network must match your wallet.
- Copy the deposit address and check its first and last characters.
- Send from your wallet and wait for network confirmations.
A wrong network or wrong address usually means the funds are lost. It cannot be reversed.
Withdrawal
For withdrawals you enter your own wallet address — check it twice. If the operator keeps the account in euros, the payout involves conversion and the rate may differ from the deposit rate. A network fee may apply.

Why crypto payments are harder to dispute
With a bank payment you have a bank that documents the transaction. With crypto, your only proof is the transaction hash on the blockchain. Save it for every payment. If funds do not appear, give support the hash and the address you sent to.
Verification still applies
Paying in crypto does not exempt you from account verification. The operator may also ask about the source of funds. If you use an exchange, keep its statements.
Illustrative example
A player sent BTC to an address copied hours earlier from an old cashier session. The casino had rotated deposit addresses in the meantime. Support traced the payment using the transaction hash, but it took several days. Always copy a fresh address from the cashier for each deposit.
