Valmo app or browser: which, and how to stay safe
Most online casinos run fully in a mobile browser, so an app is not required. If Valmo offers an app, its advantage is faster access; the risk is that a file from the wrong source may be a fake. Below is what to check on each device.
Android and APK download
If the app is not in Google Play, it is often offered as an APK file. Download the APK only from Valmo's official site, never from a forum or a link in a message. Installing requires allowing unknown sources — switch that off again afterwards. Check that the app does not ask for permissions a casino does not need, such as contacts or SMS.
iPhone, iPad and the App Store
On iOS, apps are installed through the App Store. If Valmo has no App Store app, use the browser and add the site to your home screen — it works like an app shortcut. Never install profiles or certificates that a page demands in order to "open the app".
Windows PC and desktop
On a computer a normal browser is enough; no separate Windows program is needed. Keep the browser updated and use a password manager so you never reuse a password.
The app and your rights
An app does not change the contract: the same terms, the same operator and the same complaints procedure apply. If something breaks in the app — a round freezes or a deposit does not appear — take a screenshot with the time and note the transaction ID. You will need both for support and for any complaint.

Updates and versions
Apps need updating from time to time. With an APK this usually means downloading a new file from the same official page. If the app suddenly asks for a file from another address, stop and check with support. Old versions can misbehave at exactly the wrong moment — during a payment or a disconnected round.
Notifications and limits on your phone
Apps may send push notifications about offers. If you want to play less, switch them off in your phone settings. Limits set on the account apply everywhere, so if a tool is missing in the app, set it in the browser.
