Cashback: how the loss refund is calculated
Cashback means the operator returns part of your losses. It may be weekly cashback, daily cashback or tied to a VIP level. Loss cashback sounds like the fairest bonus there is, but the details still decide how much you get back and when.

How cashback is calculated
Typically the period's deposits are taken, withdrawals and remaining balance subtracted, and a percentage applied to the result. Some operators count only real-money losses, others include bets made with bonus money. That difference can change the cashback amount considerably.

If cashback did not arrive
Check that the period has ended and your loss exceeded the minimum. If cashback was expected and did not come, contact support with the period dates, deposits and withdrawals. If their calculation differs from yours, ask for the details.
Cashback and responsible gambling
Cashback can create a sense that a loss is not quite a loss. In reality only part is returned and the rest is gone. If you notice you play more because of cashback, that is a good moment to set a loss limit.
