Tennis has two players and no draws. Common markets are match winner, set score, total games and game handicap. Settlement disputes in tennis most often arise when a player retires mid-match.

If a player retires
Bookmakers' rules differ: some void the match winner bet if the match was not completed; some settle it if at least one set was finished; some settle on the player who advances. This is the most important tennis rule — read it before betting.
Surface and tournament
Grass, clay and hard courts play differently and some players have a clear preference. That does not change settlement but does shape the odds.
Live betting in tennis
Odds change quickly between points and there can be a confirmation delay. A rejected bet is not an error but a safeguard.
Best of three or five
At the biggest tournaments men's main-draw matches are usually best of five sets, which affects total games and handicaps. Smaller events are usually best of three. Check before betting.
Illustrative example
A player backed a match winner. The opponent retired injured in the middle of the second set. Under one bookmaker's rule the bet won, because the player's pick advanced; under another it would have been void, because the match was not completed. The rule in the tennis section decides.
If settlement looks wrong
Save the bet slip (bet ID, market, odds, time) and find the settlement clause for this sport in the rules. Contact support, cite the clause and attach the official result from a reliable source. If the reply does not satisfy you, move on to a formal complaint.
