Football Betting: 1X2, Handicap and Settlement on 90 Minutes
Football is the biggest sport in betting. The most common markets are 1X2 (home, draw, away), total goals (over/under), both teams to score and handicap. Most markets settle on regular time — 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties do not count unless the market says so.

Regular time versus extra time
If you backed a team to win and the match ended level after 90 minutes, the bet loses even if the team won in extra time. This is the most frequent misunderstanding in football betting. If you want extra time to count, choose a "to qualify" or "tournament winner" market.
Postponed or abandoned matches
The rules state within how many hours or days a match must be played for a bet to stand. Otherwise the bet is void and the stake returned. With an abandoned match, markets already decided (such as the first-half result) may still stand.
Popular markets
1X2 — three outcomes on regular time. Over/under — total goals against a line such as 2.5. Both teams to score — yes or no. Double chance — two of three outcomes at lower odds.
Obvious errors in odds
If odds are clearly wrong (for example a typo), the bookmaker's rules may allow resettling at the correct odds or voiding the bet. If that happens, ask in writing which clause was applied and what the correct odds would have been.
Illustrative example
A player bet €10 on a home win at 2.20. The match ended 1–1 after 90 minutes and the home side won on penalties. The bet lost, because the 1X2 market settled on regular time. Had the player picked "to qualify", they would have won. The market name tells you which time counts.
If settlement looks wrong
Save the bet slip (bet ID, market, odds, time) and find the settlement clause for this sport in the rules. Contact support, cite the clause and attach the official result from a reliable source. If the reply does not satisfy you, move on to a formal complaint.
