Valmo on your phone: app, browser and the risks of each

A computer needs no special Windows software, because an ordinary browser opens the site. Install browser updates as they arrive, and let a password manager create a different password for each account.
What an app does not change
Moving to an app leaves the agreement as it was: the operator, its terms and its complaints route all stay the same. Should a round hang or a deposit fail to show, capture a screenshot showing the time and write down the transaction ID. Support and any later complaint will call for both.

Keeping an app up to date
Every app needs a new version now and then. For an APK, that normally means a fresh file from the same official page. A sudden prompt to fetch a file from a different address is a reason to pause and ask support. Outdated versions tend to fail at the worst time, such as mid-payment or when a connection drops during a round.
Phone alerts and account limits
Push alerts about offers can arrive through an app. Your phone settings can silence them, which helps if you are trying to cut down. Account limits carry across every device, so a tool absent from the app can be set through the browser instead.
